The company was established in 1919 and has grown to become a leading international manufacturer of interior surfaces.
It remains an independent, privately owned UK company, with subsidiaries in the US, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Australia, and distributors in more than 50 countries throughout the world.
Altro safety flooring, a smooth, slip resistant sheet vinyl floor covering with remarkable durability, was invented in 1954. Since then the company has remained in the forefront of innovation.
