Altro Stronghold 30, Altro Classic 25, Altro Whiterock White
Cardijn College is a co-educational Catholic school in Adelaide’s beautiful Southern Vales region. In 2020, the school began a refurbishment project for some of its learning spaces. Altro Stronghold™ 30 / K30 was selected and installed as a durable, slip-resistant flooring solution for the home economics kitchens and school cafeteria.
Stage 2 of the project was completed in 2022, with Altro Stronghold™ 30 / K30 specified in their science laboratories and new commercial kitchen. Altro Whiterock White™ was used as a hygienic, impermeable wall protection lining in these spaces. And for the art and textiles classrooms, Altro Classic™ 25 / X25 was installed as the flooring solution.
Based on previous successful installations, Paul Boyce, Director of Tridente Boyce Design Studio, specified Altro’s floor and wall solutions for this project as they were fit-for-purpose solutions that would meet the school’s requirements.

Altro Whiterock White™ is Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) approved and made from a high-quality, food-safe PVCu polymer that can handle temperatures up to 60°C, which makes it suitable for commercial kitchens and food preparation spaces.
