Altro Cantata adhesive-free adhesive-free flooring provides a tough time and cost saving solution in a busy corridor, at Warrington Hospital.
Lee Bushell, Head of Capital Estates, says: “The service corridor is an area with a large amount of daily traffic. The existing vinyl flooring was showing the strain, and we needed to find a hard wearing, affordable, long-term solution that could be laid with minimal disruption.
Altro flooring was proving very successful elsewhere in the hospital, so we asked Altro for some guidance. They suggested we use Altro Cantata adhesive-free flooring, which can be laid on the existing flooring, without adhesive, for a fast installation.
Altro Cantata adhesive-free stands up to the demands well with no signs of movement, proving it is a long-term solution. Very impressive. The flooring looks superb and there are some great colour choices.
Cleaning is a revelation. Black scuffs and wheel marks were always tough to remove. But now the flooring comes up like new after every nightly cleaning regime.
Sustainability is important too. As an adhesive-free flooring if we need to make repairs, we can cut out a section and replace it, not re-lay the entire area. The product is 100% recyclable too. It meets our needs in terms of cost saving, durability, looks and hygiene.
