For its new Munich store, CAJOY wanted to maintain a consistent brand look using flooring that reflects both its aesthetic and commitment to sustainability. Altro Ensemble™ was chosen for its high wear resistance, sound reduction properties and German manufacture.

The flooring needed to make a strong visual impact while supporting CAJOY’s environmental values, creating a high-quality, long-lasting space that aligns with existing stores and strengthens brand recognition.
Design studio QUARUND developed the interior concept, with Altro Ensemble LVT flooring playing a central role. The modular flooring was used in custom formats and carefully integrated into the space.
Despite the compact size of the store, the bespoke pattern creates a clear, recognisable look. The same flooring was also used in CAJOY’s stores in Vienna and Austria, supporting a consistent design identity across locations.
Sustainability was a key factor in the material choice, including a phthalate-free composition, bio-based plasticisers, regional manufacturing and recyclable packaging.
Sustainability is a core value for CAJOY and is reflected in the choice of flooring. Altro Ensemble is manufactured in Germany under strict environmental standards.
It is durable, easy to maintain and designed to reduce environmental impact over time. Its matte finish and modular format allowed the flooring to be closely matched to the interior design, creating a cohesive, brand-led look.
