Helen Woodward Animal Center extended its facilities with a state-of-the-art Humane Education Campus for immersive, animal-themed learning. The facility features Altro flooring, combining creative design with durability for busy daily use.

The new Humane Education Campus at the Helen Woodward Animal Center needed interiors that could fully support immersive, themed learning environments while handling constant footfall from visitors of all ages.
The campus required floors that could accommodate intricate, custom designs without compromising on hygiene, durability or long-term performance in a busy educational setting.
Working with Delawie architects, the Pacific Building Group and Howards Rugs, the campus team created themed classrooms inspired by different animal ecosystems.
Designs included intricate, continuous flooring features such as a flowing river connecting the learning spaces.
The specification needed to support bold creativity while meeting the practical demands of a high-traffic facility serving all ages.
More than 1000m2 of Altro Orchestra, Altro Operetta, Altro Suprema were installed throughout the campus.
