Vegabar wanted a calm, natural space that reflected its mindful ethos. The flooring needed to support its DGNB Gold certification while offering durability, acoustic comfort, and a biophilic design suited to a high-traffic, demanding, retail environment.
Working with specifier Raquet Einrichtungen, the restaurant team set out to find a floor that combined sustainability, style, and performance. The floor needed to be low carbon, responsibly produced, and certified for long-term durability. After exploring several options, they chose Altro Ensemble - recognised for its EPD-certified sustainability, German manufacturing quality, and versatile design possibilities.
Altro Ensemble delivered the ideal combination of natural aesthetics, durability, and acoustic performance, achieving up to 15dB sound reduction. The authentic wood design in colour Blue Vintage Timber has added warmth and calm to the dining area, aligning with Vegabar’s brand identity.
