The adhesive is a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, coated on both sides of a polyester carrier. It provides a permanent bond on key sub-floor types, including plywood, metals, foams, plastics and composite materials subjected to a broad range of environmental conditions including low and elevated temperatures.

Substrates and surfaces to which the tape is applied to must be clean, dry and free of dust, release agents, grease and oil. A primer may be required in some instances.
