General

AltroGloss 211 is a metallised emulsion which provides a wear and protection layer on Altro smooth vinyl and Altro rubber floorings. The application of AltroGloss can aid the maintenance of the flooring but it should be noted that this will reduce the slip resistance. It is the responsibility of the owner / operator to assess the appropriate level of slip resistance which is required.

Method of use

  1. Clean the floor with AltroClean44™ or 44+™ ensuring that the floor is rinsed clean and dry.
  2. Apply a thin and even coat of AltroGloss 211 with a clean damp cloth or applicator. Do not rub.
  3. Allow approximately 20 minutes for the first coat to dry.
  4. Apply a second coat and leave overnight to dry.

Maintenance

Remove any marks with a clean damp cloth, or wash using a neutral cleaner / maintainer. Dry buffing with soft pads or a soft clean broom can enhance the appearance.

Renewal

Further coats of AltroGloss 211 can be applied on top of the two original coats, if and when necessary, but the floor must be clean and dry. If after a time your floor begins to show signs of a build up of polish or is impregnated with dirt, strip and remove the dressing using AltroClean 44 or 44+ prior to resealing.

Coverage

Up to 60m² per litre. Available in 1 litre and 5 litres.
