Mio Apartments

New luxury living community chooses Altro Lavencia

Altro Lavencia LVT

Located just south of Boston, Mio Apartments boast luxurious living units with spacious layouts, walk-in closets, lustrous appliances, and oversized windows.

The property is run and was developed by Corcoran Companies. Utile Architecture and Planning, in Boston, designed the new living community with a sleek and urban feel yet with enough touches to make it feel like home for the 237 units throughout the 258,600 ft2 complex.

Utile and Corcoran Companies needed a flooring solution for their in-unit living spaces and their community room that was visually appealing, readily available, and priced affordably. Since Altro Lavencia is manufactured and warehoused in the United States, there was a very short lead time, and easily met the project timeline. Ultimately, the color Blonde Oak was selected for the project as it had best fit the aesthetic they wanted.

Utile Architecture and Planning designed the project targeting LEED Gold certification, which required making a commitment to sustainability in the planning for this project. Altro Lavencia contributes to LEED certification with credits in materials and resources, as well as indoor environmental quality.

Altro Lavencia’s combination of low-maintenance and aesthetically pleasing realistic wood grain made this the perfect fit for the project renovation. It aligned exactly how the designers envisioned it to be. With peak beauty and performance lasting through its lifetime, Altro Lavencia will continue to offer Mio Apartments luxurious, environmentally-friendly apartments for years to come.
