Built on 29 acres of landscape featuring nature trails and scenic views, this expansive Dearborn, Michigan skilled nursing facility is conveniently located near transportation and shops while overlooking the historic Rouge River Gateway. Specializing in senior apartments with both independent and assisted living, along with skilled nursing, Oakwood Common’s residents only have the brightest of positive reviews.
Per Altro representative Kurt Locke’s recommendation, Master Craft Floors of Plymouth, Michigan selected Altro Lavencia for the facility’s patient rooms, corridors, nursing stations and dining rooms.
“No wax, no finish [and Altro being a] Starnet partner,” said Steve Bracey, Project Manager at Master Craft Floors, when asked why our LVT was chosen over other products. Altro Lavencia 22 mil wear layer was a strong selling point – being two mils higher than most commercial LVT, our wear layer means better levels of resistance and durability.
Oakwood Common’s owner liked the colors and the look, and with 58 colors in seven embossing styles to choose from, we presented them varied looks to fit any area and many opportunities for custom designs. Master Craft took advantage of our LVT’s versatility with a border design intersecting the nursing stations, and the corridors featuring inlayed diamonds.
“We had a designer draw up some [CAD Drawings] with different patterns,” Bracey said. “The diamonds were all cut in the field by our install trained and certified installers.”
Like the diamonds inlayed into our LVT, Altro continues to shine brighter than the rest.
