Malmö, Sweden - In January 2018, the historic Ribersborgs Kallbadhus bathhouse accumulated a large amount of moisture that caused extensive damage to the building’s wooden subfloor. With damage to the wood subfloor, there was a lot to consider before commencing the project.
To comply with the bathhouse’s safety, hygiene, functionality and aesthetic standards, the project architect selected Altro Aquarius flooring for the job. Local contractors Lundströms Golv AB installed the product in the building’s cold bathhouse area.
