Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center (SMOC) in Chesapeake, USA, teamed up with design firm PF&A Design to find a wall product for their corridors, but standard white hospital walls weren’t going to cut it. Needing something with more flash and style, the two set out to find the perfect mix of practicality and customisation: and their answer was Altro Whiterock Digiclad (Custom).
Sporting the same durability as a standard Altro Whiterock wall panel, Altro Whiterock Digiclad allows anyone to add their own image to the wall through digital imaging, the perfect solution for when an extra dash of customisation is desired.
When PF&A Design took on the job, they decided that the product needed to be both firm to print graphics on and smooth and shiny – they sought to create a glowing effect when lights were shone on the panels.
Altro Whiterock Digiclad is created by reproducing a photographic image or vector art onto Altro Whiterock wall panel, with consistent, photographic quality. Hard-coat technology provides scratch-resistant properties for added surface protection, making Altro Whiterock Digiclad ideal for areas where durability is important.
