The training centre for Environmental Excellence Training and Development Ltd is designed to deliver and assess a range of educational programmes for cleaning and environmental science. Managing Director, Delia Cannings felt that after 10 years, it was due a refurbishment: “it was time for a change, even though the floors were in as good a condition the day they were taken up as they were when put down.”
Delia wanted to create a homely comfortable environment, with importance placed on biophilic design and bringing the walls to life. The centre contains a range of real-life settings with fixtures and fittings including a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, storage room, boardroom and offices. All the spaces needed to be easily maintained and promo te wellbeing while meeting all technical requirements for durability, safety and hygiene.
