A.   The Altro Whiterock hand wash station is an HBN 00-10 compliant pre-fabricated modular solution encapsulated in Altro Whiterock hygienic wall sheet for hand washing. A choice of four modular configurations or your own purpose-built option is pre-thermoformed with no horizontal or vertical joints and is complete with all required parts including access panels, taps and basin kit.

A.    The hand wash stations are ideal for hospitals, community healthcare centres, care homes, commercial kitchens, hotels, leisure centres and changing areas in all sectors as well as areas where both surface and hand hygiene are imperative.

A.    Responding to customer feedback, we needed to offer a complete package of floors, walls and additional accessories such as these Altro Whiterock hand wash stations. This ensures that Altro customers can have access to a full range of products and ancillaries.

A.    Yes, custom configurations are available. Please provide a detailed specification of your requirements and we can quote you accordingly.

A.    Each standard unit is constructed using a 12 mm plywood carcass encapsulated with Altro Whiterock.

A.    The unit is supplied with full fitting instructions and fixings to ensure a secure fit to the wall.

To finish the installation, the joint between the unit and the wall can be sealed with silicone sealant.

A.    Yes, custom configurations are available. Please provide a detailed specification of your requirements and we can quote you accordingly.

A.    The unit is supplied with full fitting instructions, fixings, sanitaryware, waste connections and water supply connections to enable a complete installation and integration with your existing supply and wastewater systems.

A.    It will usually be supplied on a pallet with the sanitaryware supplied separately. If you would like an alternative arrangement, we are happy to accommodate.

A.    Usually, 4 to 6 weeks from acceptance of a written quotation.

A.    Yes, and when used in conjunction with HBN 00 10 sanitaryware, a hand wash station contributes significantly to a safe and hygienic environment.

A.    The standard configuration allows for two access doors in the unit, usually one above the tap and the other below the basin. These lockable doors allow full access to the service and waste supply pipework as well as unit fixings.

A.    Installation is a very straight forward procedure. Each unit is supplied with detailed installation instructions and two competent trades people can install the unit quickly and efficiently.

A.    The units are supplied with a plinth that can be used to cove vinyl flooring up to, so the unit can be seamlessly integrated with the surrounding floor.

A.    We require a full specification detailing your sanitaryware, size and colour requirements. We will also need to have a full description of the installed space so we can ensure that the correct size and format of unit is supplied.

A.    As part of the ordering process, we will share a detailed drawing outlining the appropriate specification for your approval. This ensures the units we supply are exactly to your requirements.

A.    We are unable to supply a sample of one of the units but we can supply samples of the finishing material so you can see the finish and colour of the unit.

A.    No, because these units are considered a fixture/fitting, they do not require a fire certificate.
