Altro partners with the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) to assess our product suitability to be specified in Dementia-friendly environments.
The centre classifies manufacturers products by a number, based on a number of factors including the product pattern, colour, contrast and reflective value. Products that are deemed appropriate for dementia-friendly environments are awarded the DSDC Accredited Product logo, signifying their quality and relevance.
Altro has a number of colours within the Altro Transflor Artis range that are valued at 1b; meaning a semi-plain design suitable for broad use within a dementia-inclusive environment, and DSDC Accredited. You can view Altro’s DSDC approved products here.
